Week 3 saw some huge fantasy performances, but mostly from elite options that we expected to be big contributors on draft day. There were some surprising outcomes, but after a wild couple of weeks to start the season, there was somewhat of a return to normalcy.
Having games go somewhat similar to how we project makes it much easier to predict the proper start/sit options from week to week. But as we’ve seen so far in 2015, on-field performances don’t always go exactly like we project.
With that in mind, here are some matchups to take advantage of, and others to avoid for Week 4 of the 2015 fantasy football season.
Start
Derek Carr, Raiders (at Chicago) – After a sluggish start, Derek Carr has been a strong fantasy signal-caller over the past two weeks- including a top-3 finish in Week 2. In that time, Carr’s 665 passing yards are third most in the league, and he’s tossed five scoring strikes compared to one interception. For Week 4, the Raiders travel to Chicago to take on a hapless Bears secondary that has allowed the second most touchdown passes in the NFL. Carr is still widely available on waivers, and makes a strong replacement for fantasy owners suffering from injury or bye week blues.
