WEEK 3

The real battle in the NFL happens in the trenches. Below you'll find the offensive line/defensive line matchup chart. You can use this chart to find advantageous matchups for run blocking (Run) or for pass blocking (Pass). Use this chart to identify running backs who are likely to have more room to run and quarterbacks who are likely to have more time to throw.
  • Note: Pressure Rate and Yards Before Contact are projected numbers based on the starters and are adjusted for injuries. All other date is based on this season's data.
Pr%: Pressure Rate - The percentage of passing snaps in which a pressure is yielded (offense) or generated (defense).
SCon: Sack Conversion Rate - The percentage of pressures that are converted for sacks.
YBCo: Yards Before Contact - The amount of yards generated (offense) or yielded (defense) before first contact on the ball carrier.
R<5: Runs Inside the 5-Yard Line - The raw number of runs inside the 5-yard line that a team averages per game.
TD%: Percentage of runs inside the 5-yard line converted for touchdowns.
PaAd: Pass blocking advantage - The higher the percentage, the better the matchup for the offensive line, and vice versa.
RuAd: Run blocking advantage - The higher the percentage, the better the matchup for the offensive line, and vice versa.
