StarStreet Pick 5 for Week 17

One of my favorite games over at StarStreet is their Pick 5, which you can play for free each week to win a ticket to other daily games or for money.

The game is simple. There's five player vs. player matchups, and you pick who you think will score more that week. The best part is that you can play straight from our site by clicking here.

Pick 5 is a great way to earn some extra cash for holiday shopping, as a 5/5 perfect Pick 5 can earn you 20 times your bet, bet $1 to win $20, $5 for $100 etc.

Here's this week's Pick 5:

Cam Newton vs. Nick Foles

Jamaal Charles vs. LeSean McCoy

Le'Veon Bell vs. Zac Stacy

A.J. Green vs. Brandon Marshall

Antonio Brown vs. Josh Gordon

There's some pretty tough choices here, but here are my picks for Week 17:

Nick Foles vs. the Cowboys

Nick Foles has had one statistically bad game this season, and that was in the last matchup against the Cowboys. Foles is a different player now, and the Eagles offense is back in sync. Despite Cam Newton's great matchup against Atlanta, Nick Foles will lead the Eagles to what promises to be another high scoring affair by the Eagles. Start Foles in nearly every format this week.

LeSean McCoy vs. the Cowboys

There has been rumors surfacing about Andy Reid resting his starters in Week 17, and if there is anyone in the NFL who deserves a week off, it would be Jamaal Charles. In previous occurrences, Andy Reid has sat his starters in these situation, and it is not worth the risk to select him. Especially against the NFL's leading rusher in LeSean McCoy, who will see a ton of touches against a porous Cowboys defense.

Le'Veon Bell vs. the Browns

Zac Stacy faces off against a Seattle run defense who ranks among the best in the NFL, and Le'Veon Bell has been one of the best RB2's in the NFL this season, and with a slightly better matchup, Bell is the choice over Zac Stacy. Keep in mind, Le'Veon Bell catches the ball a lot more than Stacy, and StarStreet is a PPR scoring system.

Brandon Marshall vs. the Packers

With the Bengals locking up a playoff spot, some would think that the team may rest the starters. But A.J. Green will still get his looks as the Bengals need to win to clinch the three seed in the AFC. In addition, the Bears are in a must-win game, and in must-win games, Jay Cutler will find Brandon Marshall early and often. This could be one of Marshall's token 13-15 catch game as the Bears will look to ride him into the playoffs.

Josh Gordon vs. the Steelers

The toughest choice of the week belongs to two of the best fantasy wide receivers this season, but the edge has to go to Josh Gordon. In his only game against the Steelers this season, Gordon torched Ike Taylor for 14 catches, 237 yards and a touchdown. It is not likely that Gordon can repeat that performance, but with him averaging 23 points per game with a good history against the Steelers, he is the pick this week.
