- John Keim of ESPN reported that the Washington Redskins want to use wide receiver Jamison Crowder outside in two-receiver sets and move inside in three-receiver sets to showcase his versatility as a route-runner while continuing to return punts like he did last season.
- Crowder had the third-highest WR Rating (112.9) of any receiver who ran over 75 percent of his routes from the slot.
- He showed an ability to make plays from the slot highlighted by his seven touchdowns when lined up as a slot receiver, which tied for second most among all receivers.
- Despite being only 5-foot-9, he was tied for third in the league in catch rate on deep passes (63.9), the shortest player in the top 10.
- His big-play ability was evident as he converted 57 percent of his deep catches into touchdowns, second-highest in the league behind only Kenny Stills (89 percent) of receivers with at least six receptions.
- Crowder’s 92 targets are the second-least by any receiver with 13 forced missed tackles or more in the league, behind Kansas City’s electric Tyreek Hill.
