As a first-round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, Ryan Kelly was expected to succeed, but he could be the Jeff Saturday to Andrew Luck’s career.

  • The former Alabama standout was one of only 12 centers to not allow a sack in the 2016 season.
  • Kelly’s pass-blocking grade of 83.1 was second-best on the team and 11th-best amongst centers in the league.
  • The Colts offensive line overall pass blocking efficiency of 69.5 was the worst in the league in 2016 and the third worst in the PFF era.
  • Kelly recorded the second highest pass-blocking efficiency mark of any rookie center over the past two seasons (97.6).
