  • In an interview on Adam Schefter's podcast, Baltimore Ravens WR Jeremy Maclin said that he played last season in Kansas City with a torn groin. The Chiefs surprisingly released Maclin after two seasons in Kansas City on June 2, and he was signed by Baltimore on June 13.
  • Maclin played 631 of 1022 possible snaps during the 2016 season while dealing with the injury, and finished ranked 78th out of 115 qualifying receivers with an overall PFF grade of 67.2. His 1.39 yards per route run was 57th out of 90 wide receivers that ran a minimum of 300 routes.
  • Before the groin injury, Maclin had the two best years of his career in 2014 and 2015. In 2014 with the Eagles, Maclin's PFF grade of 84.2 was a career-high and 12th best in the NFL. He followed that with a 81.2 grade his first year with the Chiefs in 2015, 23rd overall among all wide receivers.
