Quincy Enunwa to be the Jets number one receiver in 2017?

  • SNY’s Ralph Vacchiano reports that Quincy Enunwa could be the team’s No.1 WR this season.
  • A year ago, Enunwa fell just one target shy of 100 passes being sent his way, only 22 fewer than Brandon Marshall on 30 fewer snaps across the season.
  • Enunwa gained more yards than Marshall on one fewer reception, but almost doubled Marshall’s average after the catch (6.2 yards to 3.2).
  • Enunwa also broke nine more tackles after the catch than any other Jets receiver (13), but he also dropped 12 passes, five more than even drop-prone Marshall

Enunwa came on strong, but a #1?
I’ll wait to see that, and I don’t think it likely.
