Jets bring back veteran LB Bruce Carter

  • Bruce Carter played the fewest amount of defensive snaps last season (121) since his rookie year in 2011.
  • However, Carter finished with his best grade (73.8, not enough snaps to qualify for ranking) since his career-year in 2012 (80.1, 26th in NFL).
  • Carter was second on the team with five special teams tackles and was the highest graded kickoff coverage player for the Jets.
  • He also had the highest pass rush productivity (13.6) of any Jets linebacker and lead the team in cover snaps per reception (12.5).
