- With the 150th overall pick the Jets selected tight end Jordan Leggett out of Clemson.
- Leggett ranked seventh among 73 qualified FBS tight ends with 27 receptions out of the slot, and he ranked 26th with an average of 1.28 yards per route run.
- While Leggett is prone to a drop every now and again, his hands are for the most part reliable; he ranked 14th out of 43 qualified draft-eligible tight ends with a 6.12 drop rate (percentage of drops a tight end makes relative to the number of catchable balls thrown his way). Leggett had nine drops on 109 catchable targets from 2014-2016.
- Leggett can make plays once the ball in his hands as he averaged 7.4 yards after catch per completion, 15th among 78 qualified draft-eligible tight ends.
- Leggett was not a guy who stretched the field for Clemson in 2016 — his 7.5 percent deep-target rate (percentage of deep targets per target) ranked 22nd out of 22 qualified draft-eligible tight ends. He was targeted just five times on balls traveling at least 20 yards in the air, bringing down one reception for 26 yards.
- Leggett needs to improve his run-blocking. In his three years, his PFF run-blocking grade never eclipsed 47.9.
