Falcons sign PFF’s third-ranked UDFA, OT Robert Leff

  • Through both his understanding of blocking angles and pure strength, Robert Leff was able to finish 2016 with the eight-highest run-block success percentage of all draft-eligible tackles.
  • The question he will have to answer at the next level is how much was he helped out by Auburn’s run scheme, which is designed to keep lineman and linebackers off-balance.
  • Leff was excellent in pass protection on quick throws, ranking fifth among draft-eligible tackles in pass-blocking efficiency (99.6) on pass attempts made in under 2.5 seconds.
