- Mark Bullock of the Washington post reports that Washington Redskins WR Jamison Crowder will get a bigger role in the offense this coming season. Head coach Jay Gruden talked specifically about getting the ball in Crowder’s hands more and even possibly getting him touches in the running game.
- With the departures of Desean Jackson and Pierre Garcon, Crowder should have more opportunity and could find himself on the outside more. Last season, Crowder was one of the most productive receivers from the slot where he ran 76.1 percent of his routes and scored seven touchdowns, the second most among receivers.
- Crowder also showed he had a good rapport with quarterback Kirk Cousins producing the 10th highest passer rating when targeted at 112.9 which was also the highest on the team.
