Arik Armstead led all 3-4 defensive ends in PRP in 2016

  • San Francisco DI Arik Armstead had 21 hurries and 3 sacks in 168 pass-rush snaps for an NFL-best 11.2 pass-rush productivity rating.
  • He also led the league in 2015 with a 12.3 pass-rush productivity rating (38 total pressures in 236 pass rush snaps).
  • Armstead’s 62 total pressures in his first two years would have led the league in 2016, despite playing 77 fewer total pass-rush snaps than Calais Campbell, who had a league-high 56 total pressures last season (Armstead played 24 total games but not as a full-timer).

Who cares. At least two of those the qb ran right into him. He also leads the league in being pancaked and rag dolled. We need to trade him.

The kids been the 49ers best interior pass rusher for the past 2 years he just needs to stay healthy and he could have the gaudy sack numbers.

What you mean the best in 2 years? He hasn’t even completed a full season. And given how trash our d line has been he failed to crack the lineup his rookie season is telling. The dude is a bust. He always was.
