Week 15 Wrap
Another week over and it’s another week closer to the playoffs and the Colts are still the only South team with their place secured. Week 15 saw both the Titans and Jaguars unlikely playoff chances officially over. Our team took a look back at each of the games in Week 15, picking out the performances of note in each.

Of course the performances of players in a single game can be hard to put into context around the league, so Khaled Elsayed put together the PFF Team of the Week and the slightly less prestigious ‘Had a Bad Day’ Team. There were some players performances that, despite good performances, aren’t getting the praise they deserve. Gordon McGuinness picks out the best of these as Secret Superstars. Meanwhile Neil Hornsby takes a look at the players he would be sending to Hawaii as special-teamers in this week’s Third Phase. While neither of the players plays in the South, there is a member of the AFC South who’s performance landed him on the Roll of Honor in Week 15.
Looking to Week 16
The big game in the NFC South in Week 16 is a game between the two leaders, with the Saints traveling to Carolina to take on the Panthers in a game in which the winner will secure a playoff place and, in the case of the Saints, a home game and a week off. The Panthers can’t claim the division with a win, but they will have the front foot heading into the final week of the regular season. Our team have previewed all the games and given you the three areas to focus on.
Think you can pick the games now? Why not compare your thoughts with our analysts, who have put theirs for all to see in this week’s Pick’ems. Our team have also put together their Power Rankings, as well as their individual thoughts.
Not every team will have a player in Hawaii. Nathan Jahnke has looked through each team though and picked out an interesting statistic for each team on a player who deserves to be playing in the Pro Bowl in this weeks 32 Observations.
Matt Claassen has been looking at runners and how they perform both inside and outside the tackles. He looks at frequency of rushes as well as the yards per attempt both inside and outside. He then saw how much the blockers helped the runners by looking at how many yards they picked up after contact.
