PFF Week: Back East, Week 7

PFF-Week-Back-EastIt’s your last chance to get caught up on the happenings at PFF before the next slate of games is upon us, and our new ‘PFF Week’ posts provide quick access to the week that was. The ‘Back East’ edition covers all things pertaining to the AFC and NFC East divisions for a one-stop Saturday shop built to keep you in the loop and on top of your football-watching game.

Week 7 features three games in which East teams will face off against each other. The Bills play the Dolphins, the Patriots get the Jets and the Eagles and Cowboys will renew acquaintances. These three games could go a long way in solidifying the structure of these two divisions. If the Patriots and Cowboys can get wins, the Dolphins, Eagles and Bills may only have long shot Wild Card aspirations. If not, things will continue to be up in the air, especially in the NFC East. It’s still relatively early but things will definitely be more clear after Week 7. Here’s what the teams back East have been up to on Pro Football Focus this week:

First Rounders in Focus looks at how all of the top picks are faring through six weeks, including Miami’s third overall pick Dion Jordan who’s sporting a +4.2 overall grade. The Third Phase features New England Patriot special-teamer Jamies Collins and Dallas’ Jeff Heath.
