All of a sudden, it is finally here—Week 13 of the NFL season. For many fantasy football general managers, it's your Week 17, the playoffs just one matchup away. In deeper leagues, the playoffs could be starting this week, depending on how many teams your league advances. Either way, it's time for the most final of final pushes, the last attempt to tweak your rosters and add that one final component that keeps you competitive.
Much like a fantasy football team, a real-life NFL team is constantly adjusting its roster. Whether because of injury or because someone has finally broken through on the depth chart, these moves can be for your gain. Firing up the waiver wire and putting in claims can be risky at this time of year—it's hard to bench the player who got you to the dance, even if he is all of a sudden averaging two yards per carry—but if your roster simply doesn't satisfy, it's worth picking up someone new.
The waiver wire is still a source of quality fantasy contributors. Here are four for Week 13, especially tailored to GMs in leagues with 14-, 16-, 18- or more teams. Hopefully one of them will give you the fantasy postseason success you're looking for.
