- According to titansonline.com, Tennessee Titans WR Tajae Sharpe should be ready for training camp. Sharpe, who underwent foot surgery last month due to an injury during OTAs, could be in danger of losing his roster spot after the signing of Eric Decker and the selections of Corey Davis and Taywan Taylor in the 2017 NFL Draft.
- Sharpe had a drop rate of 4.65 last season, which ranked 29th among 95 qualifying wide receivers, with only two drops on 43 catchable passes. His drop rate ranked second in the AFC South, behind only fellow teammate Rishard Matthews (minimum 54 targets).
- As a rookie, Sharpe played 790 total snaps, 74.1 percent of the team’s offensive snaps, last season, the highest percentage of any Titans receiver last year, edging out Matthews (73.4 percent).
- Big things were expected of Sharpe last season after impressing during training camp and preseason. However, Sharpe had a disappointing year with an overall PFF grade of 57.1 that ranked 95th among 115 qualifying wide receivers.
