- Houston Texans defensive lineman J.J. Watt had an excellent performance against the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday night as he was strong in the passing game, registering six total pressures on 36 pass-rush snaps. This awarded him with a pass-rush productivity (measures pressure on per snap basis with weighting towards sacks) of 16.7.
- The Wisconsin product performed well in the run game as well, posting a run grade of 81.5. Through two games Watt is now posting an elite run stop grade, at 90.7.
- Watt finished the game with an overall grade of 88.8, the highest among all Texans players, and the second highest in the game behind only Geno Atkins (93.4).
