  • Reader led all rookie defensive tackles with a pass-rush productivity of 7.3, creating 17 total pressures on 181 pass-rush snaps (PRP measures pressure created on a per-snap basis with weighting toward sacks).
  • With a run-stop percentage of 5.3 in his rookie season, Reader ranked sixth among 10 qualifying rookie defensive tackles, and his 11 stops in run defense ranked fifth (a stop is anything that constitutes a “loss” for the offense).
  • Reader had a solid first season, with an overall PFF grade 71.1 that ranked 49th among 127 defensive interiors. Among 10 qualifying rookie defensive tackles Reader’s overall grade ranked second, with only Baltimore’s Michael Pierce grading higher.
