Robert Woods wants to be No. 1 WR for the Rams

  • Robert Woods re-iterated his comments from March this week that he plans to be the Los Angeles Rams' No. 1 WR. Woods was one of the team's top free-agent priorities this past offseason.
  • Last season Woods (73.2) graded as the 59th-best WR out 115 eligible. He produced a deep ball catch rate of 63.6 which was the third- highest mark among WRs with at least 10 deep targets (20-plus air yards).
  • Woods lined up everywhere in 2016, including playing 55 percent of snaps wide and 43 percent in the slot, where he was very effective. In the slot Woods, produced a catch rate of 80.0 percent, which ranked fourth. His 2.10 yards-per-route-run from the slot was good for seventh among 53 WRs who ran at least 130 routes inside.
