Richburg could be in line for a bounceback season in 2017
- After moving from guard to his natural position of center, Weston Richburg earned an honorable mention on the PFF All-Pro team in 2015. Richburg was poised for another stellar season, but he reportedly played with a torn ligament in his snapping hand in 2016.
- Pass-blocking has always been his strength, but Richburg’s run-blocking took a dip back down to 29th (65.5 run-block grade) this season after ranking fourth in 2015 (80.5).
- 6 pass-blocking efficiency was tied for third in the NFL among centers, he only allowed 11 total pressures (one sack) on 611 pass-blocking snaps.
- Slipped from third-ranked center in 2015 down to 16th in 2016.
