- Minnesota Vikings QB Sam Bradford will miss his first start as a Viking because of injury Sunday against the Steelers. Veteran backup Case Keenum will start in his place.
- Keenum has played 1,538 snaps in his career, and has largely struggled. A season ago with the Los Angeles Rams he was 22nd of 37 qualifying quarterbacks with an adjusted completion percentage of just 72.1.
- The Vikings’ offensive line, with new starters in all five positions, will have to protect Keenum the way they protected Bradford last week (allowing five total pressures), as Keenum’s passer rating fell to 37.4 when pressured in 2016.
