  • A month ago, Jacksonville Jaguars defensive coordinator Todd Walsh praised edge rusher Dante Fowler Jr.’s improved maturity. Tuesday, Fowler was arrested on charges of simple battery and mischief, according to police reports.
  • After missing all of his rookie season with a torn ACL, Fowler made his NFL debut in 2016 and recorded a PFF grade of 55.5, which ranked 73rd among eligible edge rushers.
  • While Fowler's first season had its share of ups and downs, he did finish 2016 on a high note. In Weeks 16 and 17, he racked up 10 of his 39 total quarterback pressures.
