  • The Jacksonville Jaguars announced Monday that they signed quarterback Ryan Nassib to the active roster.
  • A fourth-round pick in 2013, Nassib has played just 25 regular-season snaps to this point but has played 676 preseason snaps over the past five seasons.
  • Nassib spent the 2017 preseason with the Saints, where he played 99 snaps and recorded an overall grade of 55.4.
  • His adjusted completion percentage this preseason of 67.5 ranked 55th among qualifying quarterbacks and is an area where he has had struggles. To this point, his best showing in that statistic was in 2014 where his 72.1 percent mark ranked 51st among qualifying quarterbacks.
  • A few members of the Jaguar brass have become quite familiar with Nassib over the years. Tom Coughlin was the Giants coach when the team selected him, and head coach Doug Marrone had the same role at Syracuse during Nassib's four years at the school.
