- Philadelphia Eagles edge defender Brandon Graham began the 2017 season on a mission to prove his 2016 was no fluke. He once again trailed only Oakland’s Khalil Mack in overall PFF grade (90.5 to 93.0), exactly as the pair finished the 2016 season.
- Graham turned heads against Washington by getting home and sacking Kirk Cousins twice, but applied his usual high volume of pressure and had four additional hurries over his 36 pass rushing snaps.
- Graham didn’t get much of an opportunity to display his run defense in the game, because he saw just six snaps of run defense. Washington ran the ball just 14 times in the game, and were largely one dimensional against the Eagles.
