  • The Chicago Bears will not pick up CB Kyle Fuller’s fifth-year option, the team has announced, putting the 2014 first-round pick’s tenure with the team in jeopardy.
  • Fuller missed the entirety of the 2016 season recovering from a knee injury, meaning his career as it stands has been a poor rookie season, and an improved but average sophomore campaign.
  • Fuller allowed five touchdowns in each of his two seasons starting in Chicago, but cut down on targets, receptions, yards and yards per reception from years one to two.
  • In his second season, he wasn’t beaten for a catch longer than 28 yards all year, but between interceptions and pass breakups, only got his hands to six passes himself.
