Every week I look around PFF Main content and features to see what fantasy insight we can take away to help owners going forward. This time we're highlighting a wide receiver benefiting from a new situation in New Orleans, two running backs who have taken over the workload and one offense you need to avoid altogether. Oh, and of course Josh Gordon makes the discussion as well.
Invest in Stills
Another standout from Monday night was Kenny Stills. The second-year wide receiver benefited from the absence of Brandin Cooks, a trend that will likely continue for the remainder of the year.
Going back to Stockwell's Ravens-Saints ReFo, he highlights the fact that Stills caught three passes behind the line of scrimmage in Week 12. He only had two receptions behind the line coming into that game. There's your first sign that he's taking on some of Cook's role.
Stills finished the night with a season-high eight receptions for 98 yards. He also saw a season-high nine targets from Drew Brees. His stock is on the rise but his cost isn't.
Stills costs just $4,800 on DraftKings and $5,100 on FanDuel for Week 13. The Steelers have been susceptible to deep plays in recent weeks. Nate Washington scored an 80-yard touchdown in Week 12, T.J. Graham burned them for a 67-yard touchdown in Week 11 and Torrey Smith opened Week 10 with a 35-yard score. Stills' speed could easily keep that deep-score streak alive.
The top reason to love Stills, though, is his remaining schedule. He'll face bottom 10 pass defenses against the Panthers, Bears and Falcons in the fantasy playoffs.
