IDP Dynasty Stock Watch - Week 1
The NFL season kicks off this week so it’s your last chance to either buy low or sell high on your IDP players before the games start counting. With rosters finalized, these players roles have been carved out so let’s see how it affects your dynasty team.
Kamerion Wimbley – DL – Tennessee Titans – Kamerion Wimbley has been a steady, but not spectacular, fantasy linemen in his eight years in the league. He averaged a solid (for a defensive linemen) 61.5 tackles per season from 2006-2011. His best sack season (11) was as a rookie with Cleveland. He never again came close to those numbers but moved on to Oakland where he had a bit of a renaissance. Of course, the switch to a 4-3 defense didn’t hurt either where he posted seasons of seven and nine sacks in two years. His last season in Oakland, 2011, he posted three passes defended and an interception to go along with his seven sacks. That kind of production earned him a five year, $35 million contract from Tennessee before the 2012 season.
