Regardless, these late-season game are critical for nearly every fantasy owner. Whether you’re playing to improve playoff positioning, trying to maintain your pending top seed, or fighting for your playoff life, Week 13 is one of the most important slates on the schedule.
Here are some start and sit options for this critical week that can help you make better decisions and ultimately put you in a better position to grab that crucial victory, and put you one step closer to winning the title. After all, that’s what all the agonizing months have been for.
Ryan Fitzpatrick, Jets (at NY Giants) – Fitzpatrick continues to put up steady, but overlooked fantasy numbers. As consistent as they come, “Fitzmagic” has produced multiple touchdowns in 9 of his 10 full games, and has an excellent Week 13 matchup with a New York Giants defense that is PFF’s No. 28 pass rush unit, and also ranks 27th in pass coverage. Also, this is a “road” game for the Jets in MetLife Stadium, and Fitzpatrick has thrown 2-plus touchdown passes in every single game in this stadium this season, including a season-high 4 TD’s last week.
