Julio Jones anchors our Week 11 Yahoo DFS lineup
We are now almost two-thirds the way done with the fantasy season, and while you may be out of your season long leagues, you always have DFS to turn to. More and more players are joining every day, and experimenting with different sites.
Before getting into our lineup of the week, I will tell you that Yahoo DFS is a different animal and can’t be approached with the same strategy of DraftKings or FanDuel. It must be carefully constructed with the tight pricing they have.
This week is a different story, in our case anyways. With all of the injuries piling up, specifically at the quarterback position, we are able to build one of my favorite Yahoo lineups of the year.
We don’t have any players to feel uneasy about, outside of our quarterback, but let’s take a look at why even he shouldn’t make you worried.
Mark Sanchez QB, Eagles ($23)
There is talk about Sam Bradford trying coax coaches into letting him play this week, but let’s be real. Bradford had been playing to the point where they could have considered benching him to begin with.
In the same offense, Bradford has thrown for 255 yards per game to go along with 11 touchdowns and 10 interceptions through nine weeks. It just so happens that Sanchez played in nine games last year as well, where he tallied 269 yards per game with 14 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.
Not only are his overall numbers better, but his consistency has been the key for me. While Bradford has thrown for more than one touchdown just twice, Sanchez threw for two touchdowns in 7 of 9 games. At just $23 for our quarterback, that is great production.
The Buccaneers are also a great matchup, considering they had allowed 19 passing scores through eight games, and then Matt Cassel ended their streak of at least one passing touchdown in every game to opponents.
If Sanchez wants to keep the job, he will play well and the matchup couldn’t get much better.
Notable mentions: Brock Osweiler ($20), Russell Wilson ($29), Matt Ryan ($30), Tyrod Taylor ($30)
