The top streaming options for your Week 1 fantasy lineup
Have you ever had one of your starters suffer an injury last minute and be ruled out for a game, only to look at your bench and realize that you have just high-upside “handcuffs” who are not for the player who was injured? Have no worries, that’s what I’m here for.
In this weekly article, we’ll be talking about players who are owned in less than half of the fantasy leagues, yet can be starters for that week. What we’ll be doing is highlighting two players at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver, while giving you one option at tight end each and every week.
While it’s unlikely that you don’t have your starting lineup set for Week 1, there is a chance that you had Jamaal Charles, Teddy Bridgewater or maybe Rob Gronkowski. These are players who may be huge waiver wire adds next week because of the matchup they have this week. Maybe it’s a good time to add them now before others catch on?

Brock Osweiler, Texans (28 percent owned in Yahoo leagues)
A lot of people were calling the Osweiler contract with the Texans to be a bad one, considering the lack of experience he was coming off, as well as the mediocre play in Denver last year. But this preseason he’s looked like a different player. He’s throwing the deep ball with confidence, albeit in a small sample. After completing just 7/30 passes over 20 yards last year with one touchdown, he completed 3/5 this preseason with two touchdowns.
