Last week aside, looking toward Seattle for a high-volume matchup feels odd. Times are changing, however, and Russell Wilson is on pace to increase his pass attempts for the fifth straight season (by more than 40). The Seahawks are skewing pass-heavier due in large part to the league’s second-worst-graded run-blocking and the absence of an effective early-downs running back. Their 58-percent situation-neutral pass rate ranks 12th-highest. Not coincidentally, Seattle operates at the eighth-quickest pace, ranks fifth in plays per game, and over the last month, their games average the second-most combined snaps.
