Welcome to our weekly FanDuel tournament guide, where we’re looking at the top DFS plays and strategies for the GPP games.
The scores from Week 7 weren’t the highest we’ve seen on the year, but a bunch of chalky players — including nearly everyone on last week’s “guys I like this” — found their way into winning lineups across FanDuel last week.
We’re hoping for similar success in Week 8. Below are some possible strategies for you to employ for FanDuel GPPs.

Quarterback
Quarterbacks I like in FanDuel tournaments this week:
- Tom Brady ($9,400)
- Dak Prescott ($8,600)
- Drew Brees ($8,500)
- Russell Wilson ($7,900)
- Carson Wentz ($7,900)
- Kirk Cousins ($7,800)
- Cam Newton ($7,800)
- Philip Rivers ($7,500)
There are a bunch of great quarterbacks in great spots this week.
Brady remains uber-expensive, but he’s a home favorite in what should be one of the three highest =scoring games of the week. He’s always in play. Prescott was a tournament-winner last week and gets another matchup this week against the Redskins. This game should also be one of the highest scoring of the week.
Brees is always in play when he’s at home, and while Chicago’s defense has been impressive in recent weeks, the Saints are still nearly double-digit favorites in this one. Brees hasn’t been cruising to 300-yard games every week this year, but he is averaging 271 yards and two touchdowns at home (just two home games so far).
