Week 14 was as straightforward as they come for cash games. We knew all week that Giovani Bernard was a free square at $3.1K (19.0 DraftKings points). Josh Gordon was severely mispriced at just $5.5K against a vulnerable Packers’ secondary (15.9). Once Zach Ertz was ruled out, all tie-breakers between Stephen Anderson and Trey Burton should have turned us onto Burton ($2.9K), who scored twice en route to a 24.1 fantasy outing. From there we had a ton of salary to pay up for studs and build our lineups. Cash scores surpassing 170 were commonplace last week, showing sometimes it’s smart to just play the chalk. The chalk plays are often chalk for a reason. Let’s dive into the Week 15 slate and see if we can find the same kind of success that we did last week.

Quarterbacks
There are so many different viable quarterback options this week, it’s almost difficult to decide which one to select.
If paying up, Russell Wilson ($7,300) would be the guy I’d be targeting. The top fantasy quarterback on the year has thrown multiple passing touchdowns in eight-straight games, while running for 40 yards and/or a touchdown in half of them. He’s only scored below 20 FPs once during that span, still managing to net 19.4 DK points. The Rams pass defense has been struggling as of late. They rank top-six in most passing yards and top-six in most passing touchdowns over the last four weeks. They’ve also recently been bit by the injury bug, with outside starting corner Kayvon Webster suffering a torn Achilles. The idea of Wilson throwing against a thinned-out Rams secondary makes him worth every penny.
Paying down is something we’ve often preached here in this series and it’s been a winning formula to date. There’s two quarterbacks on my board that are worth saving some salary without jeopardizing your cash lineup’s fantasy potential.
Over the past three weeks, Blake Bortles ($5,700) has averaged 23.4 DK points against Arizona, Indianapolis, and Seattle. He now draws a great home matchup against Houston, where the Jaguars opened as 11-point favorites. The Texans rank top-10 in most passing yards allowed, top-five in most passing touchdowns allowed, and No. 1 in most fantasy points allowed to opposing quarterbacks.
It’s also an ideal matchup for Nick Foles ($5,500), taking on a Giants team hit hard with injuries. They recently placed Janoris Jenkins on IR and have had safety Landon Collins fighting an ankle injury this week. Foles has some great weapons around him in ideal spots. Alshon Jeffery against Ross Cockrell, Nelson Agholor against Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, and Zach Ertz against the most fantasy-friendly defense to opposing tight ends. The Giants rank top-five in most fantasy points allowed to opposing quarterbacks and have given up the third-worst passer rating this season.
