Week 10 DFS fades and players to avoid
After a not-so-good Week 8, we nailed our Week 9 fades, as the vast majority of last week’s suggested avoids did end up having poor outings.
In the perfect fantasy football world, every player would be good every week, but that’s just not how it works. So we’ll try to pinpoint some players who could be in for rough outings once again.
Here are a handful of players I’ll be fading in Week 10.
Note: There’s always a case to be made for playing any player in tournaments. This list of “fades” is cash game focused, but most of these players can be avoided in tournaments as well. Keep in mind, however, that they might be good contrarian GPP plays because of their tough matchups and/or other issues making them “fade” candidates.
Rivers draws the Jaguars, and at this point, we have to consider quarterbacks an instant-fade against this pass defense. Jacksonville has allowed the fewest passing yards (1,439) while boasting an incredible four touchdowns vs. 10 interceptions against.
The Vikings have given up the fourth-fewest fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks, and they have held opposing passers to fewer than 200 yards in four straight games (and they were only 10 yards away from making it five straight). There are safer options this week.
