We’re into Week 12 of the 2018 NFL season, and now it’s time to identify our top fantasy football bargains for DFS players this week.

Finding bargains and values in DFS is the key to any winning roster, both in cash games and tournaments. Our goal today is to find you the best bargains for your cash games and tournaments. We will specify what games to use each bargain in and how to capitalize on them in each given week.

High ownership is to be expected from some of these bargains, and we will touch in that in the write up, so they should be used in cash games. However, some of these players are also excellent buys for tournaments and won’t have high ownership percentages. Generally speaking, quarterback is the one position where ownership tends to be spread out the most — in other words feel free using these bargains both in tournaments and cash games.

Lamar Jackson, QB, Baltimore Ravens

Now that the Ravens are mostly done playing mind games and Jackson is expected to get another start this week, it’s time to sound the alarm on what could be the biggest value on the slate. For starters, Jackson is sure to see a more expanded passing game in his second start after attempting just 19 passes in Week 11. Even without the passing volume, Jackson nearly scored 20 fantasy points without scoring a single touchdown — that’s what his rushing upside offers. He draws a Raiders defense that ranks dead last in pass rush and No. 29 in pass coverage.

Jameis Winston, QB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Now that he’s been named the starter, Winston carries massive upside into his Week 12 matchup with the 49ers at a reasonably cheap price point on both major DFS sites. Winston threw for 199 yards and two touchdowns in less than two quarters in Week 11. This is what playing in Dirk Koetter’s vertically oriented offense with three playmakers at wide receiver can do. According to Pat Thorman’s Snaps, Pace & Stats, Tampa Bay has run the second-most offensive plays per game in 2018.
