  • On Wednesday, the Philadelphia Eagles traded guard Allen Barbre to the Denver Broncos for a late 2019 conditional pick.
  • A backup most of his career, Barbre saw significant time at left guard the past two seasons. He also played right tackle later in 2016 after injuries struck the Eagles offensive line last year.
  • In 2015 Barbre earned a 70.8 overall grade, but showed great improvement in 2016 earning an 82.2 overall grade – ranked 37th among all 150 guards and tackles.
  • Barbre’s strength is run blocking (82.6 run block grade), but the Broncos may end up utilizing him at right tackle opposite first-round pick Garrett Bolles. His pass blocking efficiency at right tackle ranked 33rd of 93 tackles in 2016.
