Running Back
Travaris Cadet, New Orleans – With Darren Sproles missing time due to a broken hand, the Saints have spread the love at running back. Most of the touches have been distributed among Mark Ingram, Pierre Thomas, and Chris Ivory, but Cadet, the rookie out of Appalachian State, has also been called upon. He’s only carried the ball once for 5 yards on 12 snaps, but he had an electrifying 45-yard run called back by a holding penalty. He’s shown well in the return game in Sproles’ absence, plus the coaches saw him flash potential in the preseason, so don’t be surprised if you hear Cadet’s name more often going forward.
