The Lions are one receiver away from a dangerous unit

In 2016:

• Detroit’s current WR group ranked near the bottom of the NFC.
• The group featured Marvin Jones, who earned a 75.1 overall grade, 45th in the NFL, and Golden Tate, whose 73.6 ranked 57th.
• The Lions need to replace lost production from the slot, with Anquan Boldin still unsigned. Last year, Boldin (70.3 overall grade) played 830 snaps and caught 67 passes. Matthew Stafford had a QB rating of 114.0 when targeting him, which ranked 15th in the NFL.

Prospects who can help:

• Day 2: Zay Jones’ 87.8 overall grade ranked second in college last season and could play outside or in the slot. In 2016, he caught 64-of-82 targets for 611 yards and 4 touchdowns from the slot.
• Day 3: ArDarius Stewart is one of the best after-the-catch receiver prospects. In 2016, he forced 18 missed tackles on just 54 receptions, the second-highest rate in college football. His 10.7 YAC ranks second in the class.
