  • Rutgers T Tariq Cole leads all returning Big Ten offensive tackles in pass blocking efficiency (96.9) last season, allowing just 14 total pressures on 351 snaps in pass protection.
  • The 6-foot-6, 319-pounder is one of four returning Big Ten offensive tackles with over 300 pass block snaps and allow just one sack in 2016. He also ranked No. 2 in hurries allowed (11) and No. 5 in hits allowed (2) among that same group of offensive tackles.
  • While Rutgers’ quarterbacks can’t live without Cole, the same can’t really be said for the Scarlett Knights’ backfield. Cole ranked only No. 68 in the 2018 draft class at avoiding negatively graded run blocks.
