DeAndre Hopkins set to explode in Thursday DFS

If you are a serious fantasy player, chances are you are playing daily fantasy sports (DFS). It is without a doubt the next big thing in the industry and it has created a significant opportunity to make money for those who know what they are doing.

Daily fantasy operates under a budget, so the relative value a player offers at his respective price is just as important as his raw statistical production when constructing lineups. This week’s Thursday night slate features a reeling Texans team – coming off a shellacking at the hands of Atlanta – against a Colts team, who by all rights should be 0-4. In other words: Not much has changed in the dreadful AFC South. This game has been assigned a low 44.5 over/under by Vegas, which aligns with my plan to mostly fade this game in DFS. Still, there is value to be had in certain spots.
