5 fantasy stats to know from Week 3
It’s easy to look at the box scores and make conclusions about fantasy performance, but the numbers often don’t tell the whole story. Each week, I’ll dig a little deeper and pull out some need-to-know stats that will help you dominate your league.
1. Adrian Peterson caused 10 missed tackles as a runner.
We all know Peterson had a huge game, but this stat really puts his performance in its proper context. Through three games this season, only eight running backs have caused 10 or more missed tackles. They won’t all be massive days for Peterson, but he’s put up 100-plus in back-to-back games, and is shaping up to be a strong candidate for the No. 1 overall option at the position.
