We are officially at the halfway point of the 2015 fantasy season, which seems to be zooming by at a record pace. With numerous big injuries, first round busts and zany performances, this season has been one of the most unpredictable on record.
Now that the second half is here, it’s time to enter the fantasy playoff drive. Strengthening your roster and getting through the worst part of the bye weeks are crucial factors in giving your fantasy squad the best chance to win these important midseason games.
The best way to achieve that is to stay aggressive and proactive on the waiver wire while you can. Here are some players that all fantasy teams should be looking to add for Week 7.
Quarterbacks
Blake Bortles, Jaguars (ESPN 46% owned; FAAB 7%) – The results aren’t obvious when you look at the standings, but Jacksonville’s Blake Bortles has been an every week fantasy starter for most of this season. In fact, Bortles is the fourth-highest-scoring fantasy quarterback, while ranking third in touchdown passes (13), and sixth in rushing at his position. For Week 7, the Jags do have to travel to London, but also have a solid matchup with a Buffalo secondary that has surrendered the third-most touchdown receptions in the league.
