Jeremy Langford, DeAngelo Williams lead Week 9 waiver wire

A staggering number of injuries have decimated NFL and fantasy football rosters in 2015, but Week 8 will be remembered as perhaps the most devastating week of all. A number of key contributors were lost, and several are unlikely to suit up again this season.

Along with the injuries, Week 9 just happens to be the worst week on the schedule for byes as well. Not only will fantasy owners have to contend with recovering from injuries, many more will have their work cut out just to fill out a lineup this week.

The Week 9 waiver wire will be a challenging endeavor, so let’s take a look at who you should be focusing on acquiring to shore up your roster for the playoff push.

Week 9 Byes: Arizona Cardinals, Baltimore Ravens, Detroit Lions, Houston Texans, Kansas City Chiefs, Seattle Seahawks

For the season, Carr ranks as PFF’s No. 8 signal-caller and boasts a tremendous 15-3 TD-to-INT ratio. Considering the sad state of the fantasy quarterback position, Carr should be aggressively added, not only for Week 9, but as a starter down the stretch.
