IDP Lineup Decisions – Week 9

jonbosticIn this weekly column I’ll highlight some top IDP options that aren’t always “must-start” players. I’ll also hit on some of the players most likely to disappoint in week 9.

Here’s complete season and weekly projections that can be customized to your league’s scoring for all those tough start/sit calls. For specific questions you can always ask me via twitter @NateNFL.

Defensive Line

Adrian Clayborn DE2 vs SEA

If you watched Monday Night Football this past week you saw Robert Quinn and Chris Long abuse the Seattle offensive line. Clayborn isn’t as talented or athletic as Quinn but it’s still a good matchup and moves him into solid DE2 range this week.

Jason Hatcher DT1 vs MIN

The Vikings are usually a solid matchup for players who produce tackles in the run game. Adrian Peterson should see heavy volume this week which moves Hatcher up the board. He’s a top 5 defensive tackle and a high end DL2 based on our projections.

I don’t see why you are projecting the Bengals linemen as a weak play this week. Isn’t Tannehill the most frequently sacked QB this season?

Oh Wake. I sat him. Never. Again!
