PFF Fantasy reactions to every free-agency move

NFL free agency is upon us, and the PFF Fantasy team is reacting to all the big news with the important fantasy spins. Check below for all the fast reactions:

RB Latavius Murray signs with Vikings

The former Raiders running back will become the de facto Adrian Peterson replacement in Minnesota.

RB Eddie Lacy signs with the Seahawks

The ex-Packer took a one-year deal to go to the Pacific Northwest.

Saints trade WR Brandin Cooks to New England

This trade had been in discussion for some time now, as the Patriots add a big-name receiver alongside Julian Edelman and Rob Gronkowski.

TE Martellus Bennett signs with Green Bay

Martellus Bennett will go from one future Hall-of-Fame quarterback to another as he heads to Green Bay.

Washington signs WR Terrelle Pryor

With Kenny Britt in Cleveland and DeSean Jackson and Pierre Garcon out of Washington, the move of Pryor to the nation’s capital made some sense.

WR Alshon Jeffery signs with Philadelphia

Along with Torrey Smith, Jeffery should give the Eagles a much more formidable receiving attack than they had in 2016.

Texans trade QB Brock Osweiler to Cleveland

Houston sent along a pick in the deal, clearing up the team’s quarterback position. There are rumors Osweiler won’t be in Cleveland long.

Bengals bring back WR Brandon LaFell

LaFell was actually Cincinnati’s top-scoring fantasy receiver in 2016, but the Bengals aren’t bringing him back for that.

WR Ted Ginn Jr. signs with Saints

Ginn could have reasonable boom-or-bust potential with New Orleans, but it all depends on what happens with Brandin Cooks.

Eagles bring in WR Torrey Smith

Smith is coming off of a disappointing campaign in San Francisco, and doesn’t promise big value in Philadelphia.

WR Robert Woods signs with Rams

It took only a few minutes for the Rams to replace Kenny Britt with Robert Woods, but Woods doesn’t offer the upside of Britt.

Browns sign WR Kenny Britt

The wide receiver could be a fantasy starter in Cleveland, but if the Browns bring back Terrelle Pryor, there could be too many mouths to feed.

T Andrew Whitworth moves to the Rams

Whitworth obviously isn’t a fantasy option, but his addition should really help Todd Gurley.

Bears add QB Mike Glennon

The ex-Tampa Bay quarterback hasn’t played a lot, and doesn’t offer huge upside in Chicago.

WR DeSean Jackson signs with Tampa Bay

The veteran receiver heads to the Buccaneers, and Jameis Winston looks like the biggest winner.

DE Calais Campbell heads to Jacksonville

It should be more of the same for IDP out of ex-Cardinal Campbell as he joins an ascending Jacksonville defense.

RB Danny Woodhead joins the Ravens

Woodhead joins Kenneth Dixon and maybe Terrance West in what could be a muddled Baltimore backfield.

WR Kenny Stills re-ups with Dolphins

The receiver had his share of success in 2016, but he’s likely to regress from a touchdown perspective.

TE Dwayne Allen traded to New England

The tight end who plays alongside Rob Gronkowski almost always has fantasy value, and Allen should be no different.

49ers sign QB Brian Hoyer, WRs Pierre Garcon and Marquise Goodwin

San Francisco didn’t have much fantasy relevance before, and these signings should give the team … some.

Bills and QB Tyrod Taylor agree to stick together

The rumored dissolution of this relationship never really made sense, so it’s smart that that never happened.

WR Brandon Marshall stays in New York, moves from Jets to Giants

The veteran wide receiver has bounced around the league, but he always starts hot with his new team.
