Dynasty Stock Market – Week 13

The playoffs are only a week away in many fantasy leagues, and the grind of the season to date has left many teams with injuries and uncertainty. That frustration is somewhat balanced by the opportunities those injuries afford other players. Present-day stars like Jamaal Charles, C.J. Spiller, and Arian Foster really started their runs in the second half of seasons. A potential championship this year takes priority, but with the bye weeks behind us, do not waste roster spots on needless depth. An elite fantasy squad has a small shelf life. The moves you make now can help maintain your success in future seasons.

Is Bradford a ’13 Matt Ryan w/the Rams 2 1st rnd picks or will they try to defer them to ’14 when the top 5 projected picks will actually have a franchise player?
Am I crazy to think the Rams should swap their 1sts this year with next years 1sts and stack 2nd round picks for D? Lee, Watkins makes Bradford a possible huge ’14 sleeper.

I think it is too soon to make that comparison. As much as I like Chris Givens, the Falcons still had three receiving options heading into 2012 that were better than Givens at this stage of his career. In addition, the Rams have the misfortune of playing in a division with three excellent young defenses. Even ignoring the rest of this season, Bradford is not a top-15 consideration for me at QB.

I’m a Bradford guy and watching his decline after a huge rookie season has me wondering what the hell went wrong. I like the “good guys” who play the game right and don’t have to tell everyone how good they are on every play.

I think the problem is a lot more his situation than his skills, so to that point, he is worth holding in deeper leagues.
