Bishop Sankey a prime DFS punt candidate

The punt options heading into Week 2 still remain plentiful, as FanDuel, DraftKings and Yahoo all kept price adjustments for running backs and wide receivers modest for the most part. Each week, I’ll feature the top punt options at both positions that present the most value for your daily fantasy lineups.

Running Backs

Bishop Sankey, Tennessee Titans – FanDuel $6,500, DraftKings $4,500, Yahoo $16

The second-year tailback finally looks to be delivering on the prospect hype as the first running back drafted in 2014. Sankey was well on his way to a 100-yard rushing day last Sunday, amassing 74 yards on 12 attempts (6.2 yards per carry) until the Titans coaching staff decided to give Terrance West garbage time work in the 4th quarter.

The Tennessee backfield draws another favorable matchup in the Cleveland Browns, who are now without starting defensive end Scott Solomon due to a Week 1 ankle injury, and were gashed by the New York Jets in the run game by the Chris Ivory/Bilal Powell tandem for 153 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Sankey makes for a great low-salary, high-upside play at his current price across all three DFS sites.
