It really paid to see a lot of touches in Week 10. The backs with the seven highest touch totals all managed to punch it in the end zone. Arian Foster led the way with 34 touches and had better peripherals in this one, despite a 3.5 yards per carry average. Foster scored in the passing game and is on pace for 21 touchdowns. If he keeps up both his touchdown rate and his overall efficiency, he’ll join John Riggins, Chuck Foreman, and Terry Allen as the only players to score 20-plus touchdowns while averaging less than 4.0 yards per carry.
As we look at the rest of the weekly touch leaders, remember that Elusive Rating is a combination of forced missed tackles and yards after contact, while Breakaway Percentage gives you a measure of 15+ yard runs. YCo is yards before contact. VYA is my contrarian measure of Vision Yards per attempt.
