Social Media Engagement Specialist

PFF is currently accepting applications for the position of Social Media Engagement Specialist to provide customer support on social platforms, increase engagement and build strategic relationships.

A few responsibilities we’re looking for include:

  • Growing PFF’s influence, engagement, following and reach through social media channels
  • Monitoring social media conversations about PFF
  • Providing customer support via social platforms and develop process for capturing, routing and analyzing customer inquiries to increase retention and benefit product development
  • Gathering testimonials and feedback, and being the customer’s advocate within the company
  • Identifying influencers in our community and strategically building relationships
  • Working with the Social Media Editor to optimize posts for engagement and report on engagement metrics
  • Proactively inserting PFF into conversations around trending topics and focus keywords, and engaging interested related audiences
  • Stay informed of latest social media technology, content marketing and advertising techniques to grow PFF’s influence
  • Create, maintain and share PFF social media best practices including optimization techniques, visual templates and tone of voice
  • Develop and deploy PFF ambassador and advocacy program to democratize social media management across the company

PFF’s social accounts experience a tremendous amount of mentions every day. The person in this role needs to help customers understand PFF’s content and products, relay issues to the IT team, and proactively build relationships to help grow the company’s social footprint.

Requirements we’re looking for:

  • 1–3 years of experience working in a social media position (note that applicable internships will be taken into consideration)
  • Excellent communication skills and work ethic
  • Being a football fan – NFL, college and fantasy – with the knowledge to effectively engage PFF’s audience across channels and all three sports
  • A strong understanding of PFF’s brand, voice, and product offerings
  • A strong knowledge in and presence on Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, Instagram, YouTube, and Snapchat
  • A strong interest in emerging media, channels and devices
  • Experience in a customer service position is a plus

Multimedia Editor – Audio/Video

PFF is seeking a Multimedia Editor to shoot and/or edit easily digestible audio/video clips on a daily basis for profootballfocus.com and social media channels.  Video may include analysts previewing an upcoming game, graphics that represent a player’s performance and/or animations that bring PFF data to life.

Are you an energetic and dependable self-starter with an eye for viral, newsworthy content, and a journalistic passion for informing audiences using innovative visual storytelling techniques? Are you comfortable setting production schedules, writing scripts, directing talent, shooting video/recording audio, and deploying graphics and other media into videos live and on demand? Do you have strong news judgment and an ability to edit written and social media content as part of PFF’s editorial team? If so, we’re looking for you and your unique multimedia story ideas.

A few responsibilities include:

  • Produce video content from beginning to end
  • Assign and edit written and social editorial content as a member of PFF’s editorial team
  • Identify and analyze web, mobile and social video trends, and track video performance using analytics tools
  • Create video formats, styles and production processes designed for specific channels/audiences
  • Collaborate with staff to create intriguing, shareable content
  • Make non-visual stories into videos through data visualization and animation
  • Write scripts and conduct interviews
  • Build an in-house video production process and manage a production schedule

Requirements we’re looking for:

  • An associate degree in a media related field, communications, journalism
  • 1-3 years of experience creating compelling, shareable audio/video content
  • Strong copy-editing skills, writing ability, and editorial judgment
  • Proficiency with DSLR/video cameras, sound/lighting equipment, and editing suites (Final Cut Pro, After Effects and/or other graphics/animation data software)
  • Experience creating and adding graphics to videos to make them more effective, informative and engaging
  • Proficiency working with live and on demand production technologies, including AV switching.
  • High understanding of social media platforms, including live social video
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to produce infographics is a plus
  • A passion for sports and football is a plus
  • Role will involve working long hours, including nights and weekends when football games take place

Consumer Insights Coordinator

The Consumer Insights Coordinator plays a critical role as the liaison between PFF subscribers, product managers, and the executive team.  The successful candidate will work with subscribers to solve issues and provide product information; identify trends that negatively impact the member experience; manage the prioritization of the product development queue; capture and visualize customer feedback for analysis.

A few responsibilities include:

  • Provide PFF subscribers with timely solutions to support requests.
  • Consult with existing and prospective subscribers as a product expert.
  • Build and maintain a “help library” to provide a 24/7 resource for subscribers.
  • Create a monthly membership calendar that identifies key sign up and renewal dates.
  • Provide a “voice of the customer” perspective at all product meetings.
  • Empower the PFF team with member analytics that shape our business priorities.
  • Provide weekly recommendations to marketing and dev teams on how to improve product satisfaction and customer retention.
  • Correct work inefficiencies within our desk.com service platform.
  • Identify gaps in user onboarding and retention.

Requirements we’re looking for:

  • An associate degree in communications or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience working in an office environment
  • Skilled to communicate with all levels of management, internal and external customers.
  • Goal orientated, with a passion for client success and retention.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to present visual representations of data.
  • Ability to work well as a member of a team or alone.
  • Previous experience with CRM or support ticketing systems a plus.
