Multimedia Editor (Full Time)

PFF is seeking a Multimedia Editor to produce sharable graphics, infographics and audio/video clips on a daily basis for profootballfocus.com and social media channels.  Productions may include videos of analysts previewing an upcoming game, graphics that represent a player’s performance and/or animations that bring PFF data to life.

Are you an energetic and dependable self-starter with an eye for viral, newsworthy content, and a journalistic passion for informing audiences using innovative visual storytelling techniques? Do you have strong news judgment and an ability to edit written and social media content as part of PFF’s editorial team? If so, we’re looking for you and your unique multimedia story ideas.

A few responsibilities include:

  • Produce graphics, infographics and video content from beginning to end
  • Assign and edit written and social editorial content as a member of PFF’s editorial team
  • Identify and analyze web, mobile and social video trends, and track video performance using analytics tools
  • Create graphic and video formats, styles and production processes designed for specific channels/audiences
  • Collaborate with staff to create intriguing, shareable content
  • Make non-visual stories into videos through data visualization and animation
  • Write scripts and conduct interviews
  • Build an in-house digital media production process and manage a production schedule

Requirements we’re looking for:

  • An associate degree in a media related field, communications, journalism
  • 1-3 years of experience creating compelling, shareable audio/video content
  • Strong copy-editing skills, writing ability, and editorial judgment
  • Proficiency with DSLR/video cameras, sound/lighting equipment, and editing suites (Final Cut Pro, After Effects and/or other graphics/animation data software)
  • Experience creating and adding graphics to videos to make them more effective, informative and engaging
  • Proficiency working with live and on demand production technologies, including AV switching.
  • High understanding of social media platforms, including live social video
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to produce infographics is a plus
  • A passion for sports and football is a plus
  • Role will involve working long hours, including nights and weekends when football games take place

Fantasy Analyst (Full time)

Pro Football Focus (PFF), the global leader in American football performance data and insights, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic fantasy writer to join our team of football advisors in the role of Fantasy Analyst. If you’re a passionate writer with an analytics background who loves football, this is an incredible opportunity with a quickly growing and well-respected company in the fantasy sports industry.

The Fantasy Analyst will actively write unique and engaging content to support the PFF Fantasy product. This position will also be expected to have a strong presence in PFF Fantasy audio and video content in addition to regularly providing rankings and contributing to our tools suite.

The successful candidate must have:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in the fantasy sports industry
  • Demonstrable expertise in fantasy football and the NFL
  • Passion for football, fantasy sports, and PFF
  • Professional writing skills
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Extensive experience on podcasts and/or video
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work around the NFL schedule

Consumer Insights Coordinator  (Full Time)

The Consumer Insights Coordinator plays a critical role as the liaison between PFF subscribers, product managers, and the executive team.  The successful candidate will work with subscribers to solve issues and provide product information; identify trends that negatively impact the member experience; manage the prioritization of the product development queue; capture and visualize customer feedback for analysis.

A few responsibilities include:

  • Provide PFF subscribers with timely solutions to support requests.
  • Consult with existing and prospective subscribers as a product expert.
  • Build and maintain a “help library” to provide a 24/7 resource for subscribers.
  • Create a monthly membership calendar that identifies key sign up and renewal dates.
  • Provide a “voice of the customer” perspective at all product meetings.
  • Empower the PFF team with member analytics that shape our business priorities.
  • Provide weekly recommendations to marketing and dev teams on how to improve product satisfaction and customer retention.
  • Correct work inefficiencies within our desk.com service platform.
  • Identify gaps in user onboarding and retention.

Requirements we’re looking for:

  • An associate degree in communications or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience working in an office environment
  • Skilled to communicate with all levels of management, internal and external customers.
  • Goal orientated, with a passion for client success and retention.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to present visual representations of data.

College Football Editor (Full time)

Pro Football Focus (PFF), the global leader in American football performance data and insights, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic content producer to join our team of football advisors in the role of College Football Editor.   • Overseeing all of the assigning, editing and publishing of PFF’s college football articles
  • Leading the direction of the college football section across written, audio, video and other channels

  • Tracking content performance and working with the entire edit staff to hone optimal best post-publication practices to help drive the reach and engagement of PFF content

The successful candidate must have:

  • 1-5 years of experience working as an editor, ideally for a digital publication
  • Excellent writing and editing ability
  • Significant interest in and knowledge of college football
  • Very good communication skills and the ability to work well with writers and as an essential member of the editorial staff
  • Strong news judgment and the ability to identify compelling story topics and angles
  • The ability to translate PFF’s unique and in-depth statistics, grades and analysis into excellent content
  • A relentless work ethic and a willingness to work nights and weekends when called upon, in order to accommodate the football schedule
  • Bachelor’s degree, ideally in journalism, communications or a related field

Preference will be given to candidates with some or all of the following:

  • To work closely with Customer Services and Development staff to diagnose, fix and deploy changes across any of our systems.

Digital Marketing Specialist (Full Time)

PFF is currently accepting applications for the position of Digital Marketing Specialist to provide website and campaign support for our digital marketing channels. The position is full-time and based in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Responsibilities include:

  • Growing PFF’s traffic, engagement, and subscription sales through search, email, and digital marketing campaigns
  • Manage day-to-day email marketing activities including creative development, operational setup, testing, and monitoring of results
  • Develop and execute all email acquisition and retention strategies
  • Monitor all incoming marketing data sources to identify opportunities for improvement and growth
  • Provide weekly and year-to-date digital performance metrics for weekly consumer meeting
