After the New England Patriots and New York Jets “treated” us to a real dud of a game last Thursday night, we’re definitely in for a great show this week, as Andy Reid returns to Philadelphia with the Kansas City Chiefs to take on the Eagles.
Reid and quarterback Alex Smith, along with a stout and talented defense, have turned things around in Kansas City — starting the season 2-0 and matching their win total from 2012. On the other side of the ball, Chip Kelly has instilled a mind-blowingly quick and electric offense with the Eagles, who have put on an offensive clinic in their first two weeks, but an extremely underwhelming defense has them at just 1-1 thus far.
So will the Chiefs be able to keep their impressive start going, or will Philadelphia’s fast-paced offense be too much? Let’s take a look at a couple key factors that will determine the outcome of tonight’s matchup.
